Storyboxing Writer’s Retreat
The retreat will be from Sunday, 10/3 through Wednesday, 10/6 at a beautiful home on the magical East End of Ojai. The retreat will include: craft talks, time to write, group and individual coaching, and the opportunity to read your work and receive live feedback. My goal is that everyone completes one chapter or story within the three-day period.
Everyone will get their own bed but folks will be sharing rooms. The first night will just be for relaxation and get to know you and then we will formally start on Monday morning. Since the house is small, I am only inviting female-identifying folks. Hopefully, we can go coed in the future!
And if you feel like taking a writer’s break, there’s pool table, a hot tub and we will have an on-site yoga class (likely with Jen P), daily meditation, and all food and beverage will be covered. I am hoping to bring in a chef for one of the nights to cook us a bomb ass meal but we can also go into town if people prefer.

For those traveling from out of town
For those coming from out of town, I am happy to rent a van to pick you up and drop you off at LAX (which is 90 minutes from Ojai). We can coordinate further once folks confirm their trips.
Covid bit: I am asking that everyone be vaccinated. Because there are a few immuno-compromised folks in the group and others with kids, I don't want to be responsible for anyone getting sick.
